Kenneth obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Medical Center and National Jewish Center for Immunology, performed his postdoctoral training at DNAX Research Institute, and held positions as Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University and Visiting Scientist at the National Cancer Insitute/NIH and Centers for Disease Control USA. He led research groups in Brazil at UFMG, Instituto Mario Penna, and in Sao Paulo at A.C.Camargo Cancer Center, as well as founded BRISA Biotech. Currently he is a Senior Scientist and head of the Translational Immunology Laboratory and Director of the Center for Immuno-oncology (CRIO) at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His research focuses on using multi-omics approaches to elucidate immune mechanisms behind disease progression and response to therapy in cancer and infectious diseases. He has over 100 publications and has trained over 30 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
