Plínio has a masters on engineering by University of São Paulo (USP), an MBA in entrepreneurship by Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) and an MBA in finance by FIA. He has academic experience as a researcher and a professor in some Brazilian Universities as well as market experience in executive positions in the consumer goods industry and in the IT segment (SAP and I2 Technologies). In addition to that, in 2003 he founded Axia Value Chain, a consulting company incorporated in 2012 by Ernest & Young where he served as a partner until the end of 2016, when he began his journey as an investor at Brain4Care. Currently, he is the CEO at Brain4Care, a biotech startup that created a non-invasive monitoring of variations in intracranial pressure (ICP) via surrogate ICP waveform and associated parameters.
